NFL VP of Officiating: Penalty should not have been reversed

#56

Quote:One (1) playoff win since 1957.

That is some track record.

The amazing part of this track record is the Lions haven't moved out of Greater Detroit despite such little post season success.   I have serious doubts that any other franchise could have survived without moving with so little post season success.

In the same time frame,  the Cardinals,  which had a similar post-season track record of the Lions until 2008,  moved twice.

Detroit made the playoffs 11 times in this time frame.   Of course the number would have been higher if expanded playoffs didn't occur multiple times.    On the other hand,  St. Louis had two teams in 48 seasons that made the playoffs only 8 times.  Yet,  they also had a Super Bowl win in that city in the 1999 season and another Super Bowl appearance two seasons later.   Despite this,  St. Louis is in serious danger of losing it's 2nd team in the time span Detroit has only 1 playoff win.
