Not many have called him a thug.  Just an immature kid who can't keep himself from doing really really stupid things.

 

I'm sure if I hung out with him he would come off as a good kid, and I think thats what he is...but good kids can also make mistakes.  Giving him a pass for what he has done isn't the best way to turn him around, in fact, it's what is hurting him.

 

Not sure he's been given a pass, and I don't think people would be saying he was given one if the rape accusation wasn't lingering.  I think the suspension for the meme imitation was probably more than most people would get, and he served his suspension and community service for the crab stuff.

 

Read comments on any article posted about him, he's called a thug/idiot/etc. ALL of the time, I wasn't necessarily referring to this MB.

 

And if you don't think he's been treated unfairly by the media, then I don't know what to tell you.  Not that I'm surprised by how they treat him, they love building someone up and tearing them down, but the fact of the matter is that it is unfair and they play a huge role in developing peoples' opinions, sadly.  On top of that, I'm sure there's some people who choose to dislike him just simply because they're sick of hearing about him, but that's still media driven.
