You pretty much nailed it IMO.  I like Mariota's athletics a ton but its time to get a signal caller at the NFL level. Someone who can manipulate a defense and get them off their gameplan, put receivers in the correct position to make plays, check out of bad plays and avoid turnovers that hurt the offense.

 

That is Bridgewater in a nutshell. He is a amazing QB with some athletics whereas i see Mariota as an amazing athlete with some QB skills. Id take the pure QB any day and then some and not feel bad looking back.
