I guess having 5 different teams to route for between the NFL and NCAA is good insurance for having to deal with losing seasons. We might not have the most popular team in the league, or one of the largest fanbases but there's no denying that us Jags fans are the most loyal fanbase in the league right now. Not even Packers or Broncos fans would be able to withstand the amount of garbage that this fanbase has had to endure with this team over the last 7 years.

Liking more than one team does not make me a bandwagon fan. There is no reason to think it does.

 

I became a football fan before the Jaguars entered the league. In 1997 something happened that made me decide to also root for the Jaguars. I could not stop rooting for the Broncos and Packers just becuase of my decision to become a Jaguars fan too.

 

There is no reason to think rooting for more than one team is childish. I have a friend who likes the Redskins, Ravens, Packers, Broncos, Terrapins, Buckeyes, and Gators. He is in his sixties. My dad liked several NFL teams too, so I learned from him it is OK to like more than one team.
