I worked in downtown St Louis for 4 years from 2007 to 2011 and let me tell you the corporate dollars aren't what they were when I got there.  My company has followed numerous companies and setup in Dallas.  The tax rates are lousy in STL and for being touted as a low cost of living, I sure got a huge boost to my take home by coming home to Florida.  They tax your food, car every year, and paycheck at the State, Local and City work site level.

 

I enjoyed the Blues and Cardinals but never bothered going to a Rams game.  There is decent support there and the fans are arrogant to ignore facts and believe the Jags would relocate there.  All in all, the 20th market doesn't mean squat really.  Tell me the Ferguson fiasco doesn't make things worse.  I can't wait to find out what the loonies pull for Cards opening day.

 

Bottom line when the Rams leave town, they are done and won't see another team.  I don't see Stan even taking the city's best offer.
