While I respect JDR as a coach and as a person,   it's attention getting that two of the Jaguars best players from the last decade came out with the comments that they did.

 

Agreed.  I think it's always been a knock on Del Rio that he's not as dedicated to the craft as most head coaches in the league.  Coughlin practically lived at the stadium during the season when he was here.  Even after he was fired, and before he was hired by NY, he'd spend hours at home going over tape of college and pro players to stay up with the players out there.  He attended the combine as a scout during the year he was out of the league.  That was a guy who was married to the game.  Del Rio was almost the exact opposite.
