Now I agree just a straight 4 year 16 mil is a bit low. But for the guaranteed portion, its not that far off. Its the incentives and bonuses causing the difference here. Now obviously those are average numbers over the contract, structured for cap hits and whatnot will impact the year to year guaranteed value. I personally wouldnt give him more than $4mil a year guaranteed. But I'd load him up with performance incentives
 

even if you put incentives in the contract, it still counts against the cap... which is all that should matter to fans
