To be fair Brett Favre played twice as much as Aaron Rodgers has played so far but throwing for 71,838 yards compared to 28,578 is a big difference (If Rodgers kept the same pace it would be 50k something at the end of 20 years).  Brett did turn the ball over more than Aaron and Aaron ran as much as Brett in half of the time.  The defenses were allowed to rough up the passer more than they can now, especially the receivers.

 

Brett Favre 3 time NFL MVP (AP), 11 time ProBowl appearances, XXXI SB Champ, 5 time NFC Player of the Year, and beloved in the hearts of all Packers fans did embrace Rodgers and over time he might surpass Farve as the better QB but I think its too early to declare him better at this point.
