The guy brought 2 more championships to the Gators, so what he left, just like 75% of the other coaches either leave or get fired. 

 

As a life long Jaguars fan, if a coach came here and brought us a 2 superbowls heck even one superbowl and then left I would love him for life and so will most Jags fans, we will want his statue built outside of the stadium. But he lefts hate on Meyer because he left give me a break.

 

 

Meyer was disingenuous at UF, in my opinion.  I think everything Meyer does is in the name of recruiting (and that's obviously his job), but I'm not so sure how much he has the best players interest at heart like he says.  It just all comes across as fake.

 

The time at UF where he confronted the reporter about what Deonte Thompson said about Tebow and how it was reported....at the time, all the UF fans were saying wow, he's sticking up for the player!  It just came off as a jerk thing to do to a reporter that was reporting the story 100% as it was.  

 

The part of the op's link that I found funny was when Meyer said he wouldnt let his kid go play at UF because of the players they had playing for them....the players he recruited.  The top 1% of 1%.
