I think the above quote is funny to bring up and quite ironic.  He had no way of knowing the whole tattoo scandal would happen at OSU and that job would almost immediately open up.  I'm sure anyone would do the same if their dream job became a realistic option for them, but the quote kind of shows how much he talks out of his rear-end and why he comes off as disingenuous.
