Let's assume, for a second, that you're a decent human being. I don't know you beyond your defense of Paterno, but I'll assume it to be the case. Let's say that you became aware and certain that a subordinate was molesting children. You go to your boss with the information, and your boss shoves it under the rug. Do you:

 

A. Go to the police--your boss might not give a damn, but you care about the well-being of the children being targeted?

B. Do nothing and turn a blind eye as it continues to happen?

 

I'm going to guess you picked A, right? Paterno picked B. That's why he's a disgusting human being, and the NCAA whoring itself out to Penn State by reinstating the wins is equally disgusting.

 

To be fair, the question should include that you're a head coach with the most wins in college football history, and it might bring about bad publicity for this to come out.


So do you:


A. Report it to the police, knowing that the lives of children are more important than bad publicity that might come from it.


OR:


B. Ignore it, and let it continue.  Knowing that wins are more important than childrens lives.  I mean they'll get over it, right? It's not like Sandusky was killing people!
