The Bengals were playing w/o A.J. Green,  their top Offensive skill player,  Marvin Jones,  arguably their 2nd best WR,  and their top 2 TE's.   The Broncos were playing with a QB with a torn quad who repeatedly didn't connect on vertical passes that he completes rountinely when relatively healthy.   Against the Patriots ( twice ),  Steelers,  and Cowboys,  the Colts Defense was overmatched.  

 

 

 The Colts Offensive Line played better than I expected in the first two rounds of the playoffs.   Especially without RT Gosder Cherilus.   However,  when the Colts weren't tied or playing with a lead,   their pass protection is a major issue.   

 

 The Colts have some talent at the receiving skill positions.   But dropped passes are a major issue.   The Colts led the league in dropped passes this season.

 

 Here's a question to consider.   Of the other 11 playoff teams,  which team ( s ) would you say the Colts have a better roster than,  excluding the QB position?    For me,  the answer is possibly one team:  the Carolina Panthers.
