I agree that while Luck has reached a good level, him carrying a team on his back is bit of a myth. Again outside the AFC south they were 5-5. Once the AFC south improves I don't consider them any sure thing to win division titles, they are just taking advantage of an awful division.

 

My guess is the Colts would have probably won 4 to 5 games if they went with Dan Orlovsky all season long in 2011.    If Orlovsky was the Colts starting QB all 16 games in 2014,  I think the Colts would have probably won around 4 to 5 games.     I think Andrew Luck is worth 6 to 7 more wins for the Colts,  compared to a QB like Orlovsky.    This is assuming the same schedule.

 

If the Colts roster doesn't improve significantly,   I agree with you that they are in trouble when the AFC South noticeably improves.
