medicine is hardly a full proof practice, are we really going to trust third parties to enforce medical treatment or start criminally prosecuting people that seek alternative means. I'm not arguing for someone avoiding vaccines, I'm simply staying it's a pretty risky precedent to threaten people with medical treatment or criminal prosecution.

Understandable. I agree it is a sticky thing. I am clearly no lawmaker no do I claim my ideas to be perfect. 

 

We have also accepted that heard immunity is a real verifiable thing. This is not up for debate. They are not only endangering their own children but the rest of the community as well. We would not be criminalizing medical treatments but the lack there of. There has already been a precedent set in that regard on multiple occasions for parents refuses medical treatment and going with purely holistic treatment. I fail to see how willfully allowing your child to be able to contract deadly diseases is different.
