Feel free to point out how the drop off on the offense was somehow Olson's fault. He got a decent amount of production out of his guys despite a rash of injuries that season. Doesn't look like poor coaching was to blame, but that's just me.


There's a reason you can't always just look at standings and make a determination. There's usually context behind the numbers that explain what happened to a team. That is clearly the case with the Rams in the second season under Olson.

You keep arguing points which I don't even dispute.


When have I ever placed blame for failed offenses squarely on Olson? There are lots of reasons and excuses why offenses fail. My point is that Olsen hasn't done anything, ever, as an offensive coordinator, to merit another job. I'm hearing a lot of excuses for why he failed, but nothing that would suggest he can turn a bottom tier offense into a threat.


But, great - he is just a good fit. It's all about the fit and he is an excellent fit. He is just a perfect fit. He can adjust his offense to personnel. What a great fit! Did I mention he fits well? Like a glove - fitting well, that is.
