Seattle had the 18th best offense in 2013 and they took home a Lombardi. They have the 9th best offense this year and they're on the verge of another possible title.


If Olson can get more out of this offense, especially if he can get them into the top third of the league, with the defense continuing to improve, this team is on the cusp of a pretty significant turnaround. Even a middling offense would put this team in contention for a division title push.


Clearly facts are really part of your thought process. You see a top 10 offense as a bad thing.

 

I see that inane interjections where you state something off-the-wall absurd and then inform me that, in fact, it is my own opinion, have made their appearance.

 

The fact is that Olson has a less impressive resume than other unemployed coaches.  Spin it however you wish, but just because you are spoon fed rhetoric and propaganda from the Jaguars PR department doesn't make it the gospel.

 

That is the fact.

 

My opinion on the matter is that this hire was made based on two reasons: Availability and Familiarity.  Not merit.  This appears to be Mike Mularkey all over again; where, again, there was availability and familiarity.
