The point is, we are a small market team, the smallest. We dont attract much interest. NFL is a business, if they believe London can succeed with a team, it will happen, and all indications are that they will try it. Who knows if it will be the jags or not, but we are being experimented, i believe the evidence is right there.

 

London is a huge market. More money can be made over there, if they can attract fan interest. Which in my opinion, i have my doubts, jaguars or not, im not sure Europeans will ever really except a team. I have studied and traveled a lot in Europe, been all over, many friends over there. THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE SPORT. They dont like how the game stops every minuet, they dont understand the rules. They like soccer and always have. Theres always a few people somewhere who would be attracted to the sport, everybody has their own interests, but the masses could give a hoot. Those experimental games are all about the party for them. Im sure the brits really were interested in the jaguars and 49ners.......or maybe just seeing a different culture and enjoying the social part of it. My opinion of course, some of you internationals who are fans of this team may disagree with me, but i have a hard time believing your whole country is going to unite around a sport most have no idea about. LA cant even handle a team, how can you get Europeans to? 

 

However, i do believe the NFL will try it, and they can afford it. As for it being the jaguars, i dont know, but i do believe it is being talked about, and we are one of the front runners for a possible relocation. As for Brunell's comments, he probably should of kept quite on air like that. Some of the die hards would take offense, im a die hard, but i also am a realist. And im not blind to whats going on right now. I dont know if we will move. I hope not. I dont think it will be anytime soon. If it does happen, maybe 5 years down the road? Who knows. All im saying is, dont be blind. We are not immune and just because someone tells you something, does not make it true. These owners are in it for themselves, not for the fans. They want us to show up, its our entertainment, noones pointing a gun to our head for being a fan or not. If people dont show up here, they will find somewhere where people will show to watch and make them money. 

 

Im a jaguar fan till the end. Love them, just being a realist. 

Some very good points but we are not the smallest market in the NFL. We are larger than New Orleans , Buffalo and Green Bay.

 

We also attract plenty of interest. The pundits constantly talk about us on topics from anything concerning Tebow to London to worst NFL team. I am a firm believer in the Mark Cuban PR mantra - all PR is good PR and this entire nation and now London know who the Jacksonville Jaguars are. $800 million corporations draw plenty of interest. 

 

This is a marketing opportunity for Khan , the city of Jax and the Jags. I assure you he does not view this as an experiment and for conversations sake if this is an experiment it will backfire because we are expanding our brand , not diminishing it.
