The pass interference debacle was unreal. I wonder how different things would've been had Detroit gone on to play a team they are obviously familiar with in Green Bay. Detroit had a much better defense than Dallas in 2014. It had to feel at least a little good to watch them lose when Dez got the Calvin Johnson call on a questionable play the very next week though! Bitter sweet.


You called it on Willie Young, my buddy is a bears fan and he said the guy was tearing it up before the injury. An Achilles is hard to come back from. We signed Reggie Hayward as a FA from Denver a while back; he showed a ton of promise and had the same injury. He never regained that burst, it's really a shame.


As for Suh, I'm very curious to know our GMs opinion on him. Penalties and Roger Goodell aside, Ndamukong is arguably the best DT in the league. Definitely top 3-5. Players like that coming off their rookie contracts are hard to find. I would hope Jacksonville does everything they can to steal him from you guys, no offense.

 

The Lions would have gone to Seattle while the Packers hosted Carolina.

 

I think The Pass Interference That Wasn't totally changed the momentum because the first three quarters were all Lions and after that it was all Cowboys. Pete Morelli, not the Cowboys, declawed the Lions that day IMO.

 

The only good thing about it was the NFL said it will talk about making pass interference reviewable. I doubt anybody would get that idea if Morelli had not reversed the penalty to make the Lions punt
