Just to clarify, Belichick and Tom Brady won their first Super Bowl after the 2001 season, then won back to back Super Bowls after the 2003 and 2004 seasons, and are going to play in their sixth Super Bowl next week.

 

Overall, this will be New England's eighth Super Bowl. They lost it after the 1985 and 1996 seasons to NFC North teams (Bears and Packers).
 

Counting the 2 losses to the Giants, the Patriots are 3-4 in Super Bowls.

 

The 3 they won were all by 3 points.

 

After this SB, they will be either 3-5 or 4-4 all-time in the SB.

 

Which one will it be?
