Right now, black players are proving to be the better players and white coaches are proving to be the better coaches. I'm sure that'll all change in time (both sides).

Art Rooney (and the other owners) approved the rule, so they saw first hand the lack of consideration minority coaches were afforded when it came to interviewing for head coaching positions.
