Dude is young and is already 6'5" and 225lbs. Also he is starting to understand how to use his body and just make plays all over the field. You say he isn't quick but he is averaging over 22 yards per reception right now. He beasted Alabama's defense with 7 receptions for over 270 and he has already out done the production of his freshman season (he alraedy has over 1000 yards receiving and 11 TDs)......

 

So please explain your opinion, because I don't understand where you are coming from at this point.

I didn't think he was draft eligible, but now that I know he is he would be my #2 pick if Teddy Bridgewater wasn't available. I think he will be the type of receiver that can make almost any QB productive. He is another Megatron type IMO.

 

You sir, Are smoking something. Just because you are averaging "22 yards per catch" doesn't mean you are fast. It means you are making good catches.Not only that, The level of competition in college is VASLY different than the NFL. He could blow by any kid thatll be on the street come draft day but he sure as heck will never blow by a legit NFL corner who will shut him down if he tries to outrun.

 

That's why the draft has busts because they can't translate to the NFL physically. As long as whoever drafts evans makes sure his routes are filled with cuts and changes of direction, He'll be just fine.
