It actually improved this year with the league making the switch to having access to replay reviews in New York and just streamlining the process by telling the official what the call should be. The referee still makes the final decision. That is why we continue to see errors after reviews - it is not completely centralized. Obviously the NFL is trying to do whatever it can to speed up the game if there is a plan to experiment with tablets on the field. |
