Vagrant- we all know you are very pro-Teddy, I dont believe that he is the consensus #1 QB like you make him out to be. There are many scouts out there that think Boyd is just as good, same with Manziel if he wasnt an idiot off the field.

 

That being said, I prefer Teddy, Boyd, McCarron/Mariotta in that order but picked in the proper rounds.

 

 

The only scouts who think Boyd is just as good as Bridgewater are Clemson alum. And I actually started one of the first "What about Boyd" threads last season and everyone basically posted that he wasn't that good. This was before he decided to go back to Clemson for his senior year.

 

I don't think people understand my train of thought. I did not fall for Bridgewater and then wish he was good. If you dig deep you will actually find posts towards the end of last season where I was critical of him and worried about waiting another year to get a QB. Then I watched full cuts of every single game he played in last season.

 

And not only that, but he is actually BETTER this season than last. He is putting up much better numbers with far less effort. He is one of the few QB prospects I have watched where I thought "Wow that kid looks like he's an NFL QB playing in college waiting to go back to the NFL."
