Owner of St. Louis Rams plans to build NFL stadium in L.A.

Bullseye,   I'm on a computer in which the quote function isn't working but want to offer my two cents on what you expressed.

While I agree that most NFL fans prefer a more wide open attack compared to the old LA Rams of the 1970's and the Jaguars of the mid 2000's,  my guess is teams with that attack that advance in the playoffs would be received well in the majority of NFL markets.   In places like Detroit, Cleveland, and Buffalo,  where the last play win was in the 1990's,  I truly believe most fans would be ecstatic if the respective team advanced to the Conference Championship game.

The reason why I'm skeptical about Los Angeles in this regard is that it's a market that's very star oriented.   Especially,  with Hollywood in the backyard and so many other interests of people in that area.   With LA having two major College Football programs,  two teams in the other major sports,   with mountains,  and the ocean nearby,  winning with glitz seems needed to sustain popularity and support.
