And really bro….  the check downs weren't check downs. It was clearly the game plan. It's what that defense gives you, so they picked them apart with it. When you've got #11 and #80 getting crazy YAC on 4 yard passes, why not??  This was exposed as Seattle's 'weakness' early in the season. Most who paid attention were expecting to see tons of short passes and outside runs. 

 

Brady's MO for all 3 playoff games are check downs.  It is what they do.  The game plan is always to check down.  I don't know how people don't see that more.  But every game I ever watch with Brady for the last few years, it's pretty much all check downs spriinkled in with a few intermediate throws to keep the D guessing.

 

 

On a side note, I thought Missy Elliot was the best part of the half-time show!

 

 

Still really bummed about the Patriots winning...  Man I can't stand that team.  Bunch of cheaters!
