While I like some of your optimism about the new leadership, I say we have less than a 10% chance of even making the playoffs in the next 5 years due to the turnover that will come as better quality players move on to other teams.

 

No chance  of us ever escaping the basement?   Obviously that is not  true, because other  teams have been through the same thing and managed to improve and become playoff teams.  

 

I think you need to examine your thinking a little bit, because if I follow you correctly, you seem to think that a bad team has no chance of ever becoming a good  team.
