Hey, just thought I'd ask my fellow Jaguars to remember me this Friday. I'm going in for surgery that should be outpatient but is still considered major surgery. Recovery time depends on how well things go. I am hoping 2-3 weeks but it could be up to 6 weeks.


Also, remember my husband. He's able to take a week off via FMLA to look after me which is great but he is not used to being a caregiver. He was a solid bachelor for 20 years when we got married almost 3 years ago and has only ever taken care of himself. His patience will be tried. Hopefully I'll be too medicated to realize the depth of his suffering. Lol. I'm not a clingy patient but I will need help with just about everything initially while I heal.


Anyway, I appreciate thoughts, prayers, positive vibes and words of encouragement. I'm not freaking out or particularly concerned, but it is surgery and that is never a pleasant experience. Thank you!
