Bortles was sacked 55 times in 14 games. That was more times than any QB in the league. 16th all time in terms of times being sacked. Were we to add just HALF of Henne's sacks, he would be tied for 4th. If we were to add 3/4th's of Henne's sacks he'd nearly be third. And if we were to add all of Henne's sacks he'd be in 3rd.
His YPA drop also coincides with the loss of Allen Robinson. Not long after we also lost Pazstor. If Bortles doesn't come out looking pretty good this year, then it's time to worry. But right now, I think he should get a pass for this year.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
