It seems like everybody expects David Caldwell to pick a pass rusher if he does not trade down. I think there is a 100% chance we have other options in the first round because players move up and down the draft boards for all 32 teams through the end of April. The combine, pro days, and private workouts will change everything except team needs. So let's see who is not a pass rusher, can fill a need in Jacksonville, and has a good chance of being a top 10 pick.

 

For the purpose of this thread, do not make any assumptions about free agency. Like the draft, there is no way to know before March 10 whicb veterans Caldwell will sign to fill needs. Also, sometimes it is a good idea to fix something in both free agency and the draft. We did that to get running backs and linebackers last year.

 

Now don't get me wrong; I am not saying we should stay away from all pass rushers. I just think board members should open their minds to other possibilities.
