Someone mentioned it earlier, but are there really any conventions held there?  Christmas Made in the South, Womens shows, and I think there's a home and patio show...that about rounds it out.

 

I have a feeling the hotel space in the shipyard will have more than enough usable space to have small to medium sized conventions.
