Gene - claimed to draft BAP but never really seemed to Caldwell basically (and maybe purposely) completely contradicted Gene Smith on two specific points. He said he's drafting for need, and said he thinks level of competition in college is important. Two huge departures from Gene Smith's message through the years. |
