They prefer Demaryius because he's the better player, there's no doubt about that, but J. Thomas isn't that far behind. I like Charles Clay, but prefer Julius because of his size; he's a legit red zone threat at 6'5 and runs just as well (if not better than Clay). According to PFF, Clay is the better run blocker while Thomas pass protects better, so it's a wash there. At the end of the day I feel Julius is more dynamic, and offers more upside than Clay. |
