Have to overpay by 120-125%? Is there a link?
Don't be silly. They just have to pay more than what the other teams are offering. They didn't have to pay a 25% markup on Zane Beadles or Chris Clemons or Red Bryant or Toby Gerhart. All of those guys are right in line with a normal free agent contract. You also suggested paying almost double what Bulaga and Ayers are worth. There is a 200% markup for those guys? I guess we'd have 0 trouble signing anyone we want if we offer them double of what any of the other 31 teams would offer them. |
