The Jaguars placed the franchise tag on ProBowl tight end Marcedes Lewis on Wednesday, worth $7.3 million for the 2011 season. The end of this season, Rotoworld http://www.rotoworld.com/recent/nfl/3615/marcedes-lewis "He’s no longer a threat as a receiver and battled drops all season" _________________________________________ I was always confused by Lewis whom dropped so many passes over the years, and wasnt a great blocker not like Kyle Brady was for example yet paid so much... why didnt they cut / trade him years ago? Its not like he is loved so much by the fan base.... I really dont understand why he's so confident in dealing with the press, saying things like he feels no one can cover him...... I really dont think losing Lewis would effect this team at all either way. |
