I'm fine with the hire. People have to realize he did something right to get a GM job. He may have failed in that role with that much responsibility but it does not mean in a reduced role he will fail. This may be his niche in the league. He can also learn and enhance his weaknesses.
To me it makes sense to load up on all this previous coaches and executives. The connections and experienced gained for the future is priceless. |
