Lewis, Poz, Gerhart, and Clemons possible cuts via nfl.com

#45

Quote:Except that Lewis doesn't show up late, doesn't complain, doesn't bad-mouth the company and doesn't need a bath any more so than the 52 other employees in that company do. His results on the field aren't there, but off of it, he's still a leader of the team. At some point, that's not enough, and I don't expect it to be enough to save him if a top-tier TE is signed in FA or drafted, but it makes him worth keeping around just to see what we end up doing at the position.

Side note: if we do cut Marcedes Lewis, I suspect he'll be booking visits within a day and signed within a week. He's still got something to offer an NFL team, just not at his current salary.
Like gain 30 pounds and move to back-up Tackle?

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
