People on this board hate when outsiders come here and give their opinion, most likely because its more of the national perception than anything.  It's typically closer to the truth that we would ever like to consider.

 

In my opinion, watching the Colts....you are further from a Super Bowl team than you can see for yourself.  You are missing the big playmakers that other teams have.  You're team is good enough to make the playoffs, contend for the AFC title...but at this point I don't see them getting over the hump to beat the elite teams in the AFC. 

 

I'm not saying this to make you made or as a callous Jags fan.  Just my opinion on a pure football basis.

 

On the flip side....I think everyone is a bit cautious as to where the Jags are going with Caldwell/Gus are leading the team.  At this point it can go either way.  It all comes down to Bortles and how the free agents/draft picks do in the next couple years.
