The Colts with Luck are 5-1 against the Jags (the first game being his only loss), and are averaging +18 points against the Jags. That's 3 scores. That's the average.

 

I think this opinion by some Jags fans is more of a false belief.

 

 

It's not even close to a false belief, but we can't really expect you to understand.

 

When Manning was in his prime, the Colts were nearly unbeatable and that was with a much better Jags team then this current one.

 

The Jags got them a couple of times, one being the 59yd last second FG, but overall, Manning in his prime just owned us in the win/loss column.

 

We feel that if we just switched current Luck for prime Manning, the Jags definitely would have had a better win/loss record vs the Colts then they had with Manning, with those better Jags teams.

 

The Jags knew what was coming from Manning and still couldn't stop it.

 

Luck just isn't anywhere near that nearly unbeatable prime Manning level yet and that in itself gives us some hope for the future, but of course the Jags will have to do their part and get better, which unfortunately has not been the case since Luck has been in the league.
