The most worrying part is probably this:

He'd have gotten less time for being a child rapist or an aircraft hijacker.  That's just ridiculous. We have too many people in prison on non-violent drug charges.  Whether you think marijuana should be legal or not, I think most should be able to agree that a 55 year sentence is outrageous.
