Woman hands out letters to 'obese' children for Halloween
|
Quote:My kids got home last night I let them have one or two pieces then took the rest and sent them to bed. This morning they woke up looking for the candy, I told them no candy this early in the morning, they had a "what the hell dad" look on their face, it was priceless! Reminds me of the look my kids gave me when they realized their mom stole all their pixie stix. I'm really bad at telling my kids 'no'. Luckily with Candy, they don't overindulge. Last year they counted all their candy and made sure they'd have enough to last until just before Christmas. They're also good at sharing. Honestly I think it's better that kids have some candy now and again. I'd say they're less likely to overindulge if they have it every now and again. Everytime we go shopping together, I'll ask the girls if they want a candybar. Quote:I'm just gonna' go ahead and get this off my chest.... ...YOU MONSTER! (Or at least you are if you like some bad candy...) We hand out full sized candy bars, and because my wife loves them we always have pixie stix on hand 'just in case' we run out of Candy in our tiny neighborhood where around half the trick-or-treators are our kids.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
