So then, who's to say whom the leak came from? What if the agent leaks the fact that the team has offered something acceptable? Violation? It's an unenforceable rule. I am sure there is a way to prove who said what. Maybe there are phone call records. Maybe teams and agents communicated by email. If police departments can investigate communications, who is to say the NFL can't? |
