For teams without a franchise QB in a huge contract, they should be spending to upgrade talent.
Gene's philosophy was more about trying to get a good deal than finding real talent. He thought getting a $4m talent for $3.5m was better than getting a $7m talent for $8m. .... sometimes you need to pay more to improve. |
