The slew of picks would have to be multiple HIGH picks anyway.  


It's also not that far fetched.  Sanchez is a known quantity.  Mariota isn't guaranteed success in the NFL.

Sanchez is KNOWN to be NOT GOOD.  Mariota at least has the potential to be REALLY GOOD.

 

And case and point, they will need to trade away a ton of picks to get up to the top 5 to get Mariota.  This trade did NOTHING to increase their chances of making that possible.  They already had a veteran with (some) trade value in Foles (probably better value than Bradford).  And they are giving away more picks than they got.... it makes 0 sense.

 

And lets say a team takes that deal with the Eagles which includes basically the Eagles entire draft the next two years.... that is beyond stupid.  The Eagles would be putting all their eggs in one basket which we know doesn't work.
