Veteran trades reveal a weak draft class

#20

Quote:I'd target one of the RDEs to play LEO.

The problem with picking one is, the pass rush group is so full of tweeners it's hard to tell which would actually be successful as a LEO.  All seem uncomfortably risky to me.

Instead of pass rusher, we could also look for our WR1 or FS.

None of which I think are worth pick #3.  If we (can) move down, we've got many more options.
I think the problem with that strategy is that so many teams in the top ten need pass rushers, if we traded down too far, we'd likely miss out on most of them.

To me, one ot the more enticing possibilities is getting 13 and 31 from New Orleans.

But I think under that scenario, all of the top tier LEO candidates (Fowler, Ray, Beasley, Gregory) will all be off the board by 13.

Prior to yesterday, I'd envisioned landing a guy like Trae Waynes at 13.  Now, I would think OT.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!
