Is It Time to Move On From Marcedes Lewis?

I think it could be beneficial to keep Marcedes this season. When was the last time we had two starting caliber (arguably) TE's?
One is a very good Pass Catching TE that cant block. While the other is a good Blocking TE that is an average to below average receiver. We had issues in the red zone last year. Having two 6'5"- 6'6" TEs can help that with receiving, and "goaline" package runs in the red zone. I don't care if you are a Marcedes "lover or hater" I think everyone would agree with the above statements. To top it off, that 7mil comes off the books Next year to spend on someone else in FA. |
