Ten years ago, those guys had less value because they weren't good 4-3 fits.

Today, their value is inflated because of demand from 3-4 teams. So much so, OLBs are petitioning to be paid like RDEs when they get tagged, etc.

If we go there with our third pick instead of trading down, I hope we get a Justin Houston instead of another Akin Ayodele. Tweeners can be extremely risky if the fit misses.

I agree. I edited my mock a little bit in the post just above and posed a question about who is a better fit for the jags from the DE/OLB guys who are left in that scenario.
