I'm not sure about you, but as a child I did many many MANY things that were highly dangerous. 

Some, my parents encouraged, some, my parents would have a heart attack if they knew about it.

Either way, it was all part of growing up. You can't keep everyone safe.

There's been a lot of research that SUGGESTS that football could cause issues, but so could anything else.

I fully intend on letting my son pursue whatever sport he wishes, regardless of the danger level. It's his life, and he gets to make those choices.
