You must be new to town. Freeman was one of the better T-U Jags writers, and tended to be pretty conservative when it came to what he wrote. He was pretty meticulous about making sure he was publishing something that he felt was the truth or close to it, not something that was little more than wild speculation or a tip from the hot dog vendor in section 135.

 

I wouldn't be shocked at all to see the Eagles flip Bradford to the Browns for 19 (or Bradford and, say, a third-round pick for twelve), then package those picks for a move high into the top ten to grab Mariota.

 

I'm really starting to see this as a no-lose draft for the Jaguars. Either the Titans trade out with someone who wants Mariota/take Mariota themselves and Leonard Williams is sitting there for us, or the Titans take Leonard Williams and we get to scoop up some extra selections by sliding back and letting someone have Mariota.

 

I'm of the opinion (and this may not be a popular one) that there are three elite players in this draft: Winston, Mariota, Williams. In the Jaguars' case, if Williams is gone, pick three might as well be pick twelve because of the glut of players in there that all feel pretty similar in terms of grade.
