The difference is that there is no guaranteed money if you trade for Peterson. You can cut him at any time with no additional cost. Murray was guaranteed 21 million. Peterson's contract is also only 3 years as opposed to 5. Peterson actually has the better contract, from a team perspective, although maybe not to Shad Khan's wallet. |
