Maybe it just shows you how slow that conference is because both Abdullah and Gordon looked fast enough on the field, albeit against slow competition.


Argument doesn't hold water in this case. Gordon had 391 yards on 40 attempts for an average of 9.77 per carry against the two SEC teams (LSU & Auburn) he faced. Competition in the SEC is plenty fast enough isn't it?
